The Hud-son Oscar 60 is Great from Monster Logs to Quarter Logs

The 60 has really been working great, I’ve had a lot of monster logs on the deck and producing countless slabs, one western red maple log yielded $2500 worth of slabs. Only took couple hrs. Love the 30″ band wheels. I’ve really got it down running the mill from maximum capabilities to quarter logs to fit TK mill.

The two go hand n’ hand together. I think one day we did 10 or so 30″ diameter cedar logs and milled 4500′ bf of 1×12 barn siding using the 60 to make 12″ slices then set them on TK mill to make accurate thickness with the setworks. Not a bad day for me and my off bearer.
